Sabrina and David’s wedding beautifully blended contemporary style with cherished cultural traditions, making their celebration unforgettable. Both coming from distinguished backgrounds, the couple chose to honour their heritage by incorporating meaningful customs, creating a wedding that was both modern and rich in tradition.
The wedding day began with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, a deeply meaningful and intimate ritual shared only with family members. This custom symbolized the unity of Sabrina and David’s two families, bridging cultural divides and marking the start of their lifelong journey together. The ceremony, held at a private residence, set a tone of authenticity and warmth for the rest of the celebration.
Following the Tea Ceremony, the couple celebrated their romantic wedding ceremony at District 28, an iconic venue located in the heart of the city. Known for its sleek white walls and industrial charm, the venue offered a blank canvas that perfectly complemented the couple’s timeless vision. A live guitarist played romantic tunes throughout the ceremony, adding an intimate touch to the atmosphere.
The wedding was enriched by the inclusion of several Filipino wedding traditions, which added depth and authenticity to the ceremony. Sabrina and David exchanged vows beneath the symbolic unity veil, participated in the cord ritual, and completed the ceremony with an exchange of unity coins, each ritual representing the bond they shared. The ceremony concluded with a celebratory champagne toast, making the moment even more memorable.
Sadly, District 28 has closed its doors, but it remains a cherished memory for those who experienced its beauty.
After the ceremony, Sabrina and David continued their celebration with a stunning photo session at Archive Studios. The modern industrial venue, featuring both vintage charm and European architectural details, provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. The natural light and intimate setting made for breathtaking photographs, capturing the couple’s love story in the most picturesque way.
Every detail of Sabrina and David’s wedding was meticulously planned, making it an extraordinary celebration. From their cultural traditions to the modern industrial venue, each aspect of the day was exceptional. It was an honour to work with this lovely couple, and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their unforgettable journey.
