Lena and Will’s Wedding at the Art Gallery of Ontario

Dramatic formations of blooms beautifully set the tone for Lena & Will’s modern, elegantly refined wedding in the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). Embodying a contemporary design and filled with unique spaces, the gallery is truly an outstanding choice for celebrating the special day of your life. Featuring a stunning blend of rust tones with neutral colour palettes, the venue served as the perfect canvas for Lena & Will to realize their vision, and I was honoured to be part of it as their wedding coordinator.

Lena began her day in a private suite sipping champagne with her bridesmaids in an intimate and joyful setting. She wore a breathtaking white gown by Jenny Yoo, while Will looked sharp in a classic black suit. One of the most emotional moments came during their first look in the Henry Moore Gallery, where modern art and emotion met in the most beautiful way.

The wedding ceremony took place in Walker Court, the heart of the AGO, beneath the iconic staircase designed by Frank Gehry. The minimalistic floral archway, adorned with soft blush and ivory roses, added a delicate contrast to the grandeur of the space. As Lena walked down the aisle with her parents, guests were moved by the emotional exchange of vows between the bride and groom.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into Galleria Italia for the reception. The venue’s sleek lines, expansive windows, and curated exhibitions offered an unforgettable setting for dining and celebration. After capturing newlywed portraits, including an iconic stop in Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room, Lena and Will joined their guests for a night full of laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a lively dance party.

The Art Gallery of Ontario offers multiple customizable event spaces, making it one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Toronto.
